Bonka
There is no denying that party’s and music go hand in hand and the top priority for Queensland’s Bonka is just this – oh, with a few added bottles of Jager to ignite the situation! The duo made up of Lachlan and Connor is two flamingly excited DJ/producers who have been known to tear down walls in clubs upon the delivery of their slick main room and mashup wars on the frequent. Notably one of Australia’s most sought-after lords of mash- up, Bonka has it nailed with paragons like The Chainsmokers, Timmy Trumpet, Deorro, Tujamo, Tommy Trash, TJR and more sprinkling their sets with a well infused Bonka lead while also owning their explosive live shows across the country.
Signed to Catch Management and the aligned record label Mr. White, Bonka haven’t taken the stale ol’ road through electronic music, but have instead aggressively taken their sound with notorious mash-ups right to where they need to be- on dance floors and in the playlists of fellow electronic icons. ‘Like This’ with international wunderkind David Puentez reached an epic #5 on the ARIA Club Chart and stormed its way to #6 on the Beatport Big Room Charts. Following up, their single ‘Killa’ with heavyweight J-Trick reached #2 in the ARIA Club Charts, their colab with Reece Low ‘Off the Set’ earnt them a release on the prestigious Mix Mash Records and their hit single with International songstress Luciana ‘Be Alive’ stormed Australian Radio and climbed its way to #3 in the ARIA Club Chart. Most recently their chart topping single ‘Focus’ with Bianca took out the top spot with a #1 placing in the ARIA Club Chart and saw its fair share of rotation across major Australian radio. Blazing the full musical empire for their fans, Bonka also blast out a monthly show ‘Let’s Go Bonkas’ featuring their own recipes alongside guest spots by A list DJ’s from around the globe which frequently takes out the #1 spot on iTunes.
On the road with a fully loaded tour schedule, the aficionados set fire to venues across the globe and quite frankly very rarely see their own beds! From stages Australia wide to clubs and festivals across the deep it’s safe to say the Bonka party travels on no sleep, but the drinks best be on ice and the party at the ready.

Mashd’n’Kutcher
Mashd N Kutcher are NOT your average DJ’s.
The pair of Brisbane-grown musicians have progressed from local DJs to one of the most prominent electronic acts to grace the music scene in recent years, with an ever-growing list of successes including being voted Australia’s #1 DJ duo (inthemix 2015), producing multiple Gold-selling records, hitting the one million followers mark on Facebook and achieving viral video success for their infamous ‘mashups’ almost too many times to count and continue to make waves around the world combining music, multimedia and exhilarating live-electronic performances.
Since meeting each other in 2014, the classically trained pianist and drummer merged as a duo with a mission to defy what is considered to be ‘normal’ in electronic dance music. Creating a concept for a live show, that combined their love of music and incredible array of skills as multi-instrumentalists, DJs and producers to develop a world-class live show – proving themselves as not just musicians and DJs but creative masterminds and all round entertainers.
MNK are no strangers to commercial radio success, with multiple Gold-selling productions, as well as securing a weekly spot on one of Australia’s largest national commercial stations and undertaking multiple sold-out tours each year across Australia, Asia, New Zealand, North America, South America and Europe.
Three years later, Mashd N Kutcher have fast become one of the most buzzed about acts in the industry, both within Australia and abroad. While their live-shows keep the dance floors jam-packed, their music has been keeping Australia’s airwaves busy with their two Platinum and Gold selling records ‘Do It Now’ and ‘My Sunshine’, a track that came in as #1 Most Played record on Australian Radio in February by any Australian artist and reached #5 overall on iTunes. ‘Do It Now’ reached over 1 million plays on YouTube alone and was added to every major commercial station across the country.
Unless you’ve been living free from social media, there is no doubt Mashd N Kutcher would have appeared in your newsfeed one time or another, the pair have one of Australia’s biggest social reaches online in music, with each video reaching tens of millions of views – leaving the boys with over 250 million video views in total, winning the boys praise and partnerships from globally recognised brands such as Dominos, Subway and Optus to name a few and international media coverage on some of the world’s biggest news outlets including The Discovery Channel, CBS, Good Morning America and Inside Edition.
Kicking 2017 off with a bang, MNK signed to powerhouse-label Universal Music Group and highly esteemed publishing company BMG, which in turn has seen their new single ‘Pretend’ featuring Park Avenue released globally on all platforms.
Impressively, the boys’ social media stats speak for themselves. With 1 million followers on Facebook, 50 thousand Instagrammers, a whopping 100,000 viewers on Snapchat and over 200,000 YouTube subscribers. There’s no slowing down.

YROR?
Four years ago a 19 year old Rory O’Brien took his first steps into the underground scene by playing at a local Melbourne nightclub, ‘Code Red’ at platform one. Over the course of the year Rory would perfect his craft, trying to be the best technical Dj he could to stand out from the pack. This payed off dividends after being noticed by promoter Josh Sheppard who gave him an instant residency at the infamous Wah Wah Saturdays. It didn’t take long for Mr Wah himself, Steve Brown to notice Rory who then took him under his wing and signed YROR to ‘Bromer Entertainment’.
Why YROR? You say?.. Rory has his mum to thank for that! Playing loud music until all hours of the night, coming home in the early hours of the morning, Rory would always have his mother asking why are you doing this, why are you doing that?… That’s how YROR? (Why – Rory) was born. Thanks Mum!
At 20 years old his good friend Anthony Michetti ran him through the basics of production, while Rory filled in the gaps by spending countless hours watching youtube tutorials, making edits, bootlegs and mashups. Inspired by the sounds of Orkestrated and Kalus, it didn’t take Rory long to find his calling in the Minimal scene, and he’s never looked back!
Come early 2016 and Rory has built a large, almost cult like following that’s supports his every move including his standout track releases and equal standout Facebook beefs. A standard weekend in Melbourne and you’d find it hard to not see a lineup with YROR? on it with Rory playing 6-8 shows infecting everyone with his hard hitting minimal sound.
