Mashd N Kutcher are NOT your average DJ’s.
The pair of Brisbane-grown musicians have progressed from local DJs to one of the most prominent electronic acts to grace the music scene in recent years, with an ever-growing list of successes including being voted Australia’s #1 DJ duo (inthemix 2015), producing multiple Gold-selling records, hitting the one million followers mark on Facebook and achieving viral video success for their infamous ‘mashups’ almost too many times to count and continue to make waves around the world combining music, multimedia and exhilarating live-electronic performances.
Since meeting each other in 2014, the classically trained pianist and drummer merged as a duo with a mission to defy what is considered to be ‘normal’ in electronic dance music. Creating a concept for a live show, that combined their love of music and incredible array of skills as multi-instrumentalists, DJs and producers to develop a world-class live show – proving themselves as not just musicians and DJs but creative masterminds and all round entertainers.

Lock your doors, Lockdown is here…
Lockdown is currently the name everyone in the know are name-checking. In the space of one year this energetic solo artist has created a cult-like following which has seen his profile and gig bookings increase tenfold. He has literally become one the most entertaining acts on the Australian circuit.
Backed by Carnage & Steve Aoki, Lockdown recently released a song with the two heavy weights, soaring to the top of the charts.
Lockdown has created his own imitable sound which feature heavy hitting basslines, rolling percussion and eerie atmospheres. Lockdown’s music perfectly combines with his visual and theatrical aspect.
Being active for a such a short amount of time, Lockdown has already played an impressive amount of shows across, not just Melbourne, but also Australia. His hard work payed off when he was voted into the last annual “In The Mix” DJ poll where he was voted by the public as the 28th most popular DJ act in Australia. Not bad for a debut placing…
With an addictive sound that will hook you from the moment you hear his songs, a visual element that will hold your gaze and an attitude that demands your attention, you can rest assured that, one way or the other, Lockdown is here to make an impact.
Press Play might hail from the small town of Bendigo in rural Australia, but his national (and international) appeal has seen him relocate to Melbourne to become one of the most in-demand Australian DJs. Armed with an exclusive arsenal of original works & remixes, Press Play has enamoured himself to crowds that stretch the breadth of Australia and beyond.
Regularly touring Australia, Press Play has featured on some of the world’s largest music festivals alongside the world’s biggest acts – most notably Creamfields in the U.K. – the worlds biggest music festival. He then went on to be booked on the Australian Creamfields main stage in 2017 alongside Deadmau5, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & more.
On the production front Press Play has carved a huge name for himself with regular signings on the Ministry of Sound subsidary label Hussle Recordings. His track ‘Get F*cked Up’ made the Beatport Electro House Top 25 chart and also cracked the overall Top 100 Beatport chart. His signings with Ministry of Sound Australia all featured in the Beatport charts, with both ‘Russian Roulette’ and ‘Bollybounce’ storming into the Top 30, just to name a few. His most recent release, ‘Like This’ came out in August 2018 on Will Sparks label ‘Bourne’ and hit the top 10 on the Beatport Psy Trance charts.
It really is no surprise that Press Play was voted the #15 best DJ in Australia at the last ITM awards, Australia’s number 1 DJ ranking competition. This rise in popularity also saw him being approached by Australia’s number one syndicated EDM radio show, The Drop, to be a part of their all-star team of presenters (a show which before it’s retirement received a weekly national audience of over 600,000).
With some huge collabs, alot of support and some big plans, 2019 is looking to be the year of Press Play! This would come as no surprise though: Rueben Heenan is one of the hardest working EDM acts on the Australian circuit.
After supporting some of the biggest names in the industry and touring the country, Tom Bromley is on the fast track to the big league’s.
Building a reputation playing his Main Room and Melbourne tunes, Tom Bromley at the young age of 20 is defiantly a crowd pleaser and an up & coming artist to keep an eye on.
